Hi, I’m the founder of The Cheeky Weiner, a disabled veteran-owned mobile food business I created around a simple idea: take one of America’s most familiar foods, give it the respect it deserves, and have an unreasonable amount of fun doing it.

But there was another part of the idea that mattered just as much to me.

I love the crap out of my dog.

He goes places with me. He’s part of my everyday life, and I never liked the idea that bringing your dog somewhere often meant finding a place where they were merely allowed to be.

So I decided to build something different.

The Cheeky Weiner was designed from the beginning as a place you actually want to bring your dog. Not a human food business that later stuck a water bowl outside and called itself dog-friendly. Our dogs are part of the experience, part of the personality and, honestly, part of the reason this place exists.

For the humans, we serve the classics you know and love, but we also like wandering considerably off the culinary leash. Our UNLEASHED™ creations combine premium ingredients, house-made relishes, sauces, cheeses and unexpected flavor combinations designed to show just how far the humble hot dog can go.

At The Cheeky Weiner, we believe great food should never get boring. We’re constantly creating, experimenting and finding new ways to build something seriously delicious.

Our fancy gets tickled quite a bit, so flavors and creations rotate regularly. Some become fan favorites. Some disappear into Cheeky history. And some may never be seen again.

For our four-legged family members, That’s My Dog! Crafted Treats gives them an experience of their own. Because if I’m eating something special while my dog sits there staring at me like I've committed some terrible act of betrayal, we've clearly failed to think this through.

We’re QR-ordering, no-lines, come-as-you-are people. There’s no pretension, no judgment and no tipping. Ever. Just good food, good company, dogs being dogs and an experience we hope feels a little different from everything else parked down the street.

After a lifetime of working, leading, serving and solving other people’s problems, I wanted to build something of our own that reflected who we actually are.

Apparently, that meant gourmet weiners, dogs and a bit of cheekiness mixed in.

We take our food seriously. Ourselves? Not so much.
